Glenn's Ginseng Sales

Glenn’s Ginseng Sales is located at 312 Walnut Street, Marathon, and is owned by Glenn J. Mroczenski.  Glenn is a Ginseng Broker, and one of the largest buyers and exporters of Wisconsin ginseng root and seed in the United States.  Last year, he moved over 200,000 pounds of root, roughly 25 percent of the Wisconsin ginseng root harvested each year, in addition to wild ginseng from 18 different states.

 

Glenn’s Ginseng is internationally known and respected with buyers and visitors from Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Taiwan and Canada.  Domestically, Wisconsin ginseng is marketed to the Chinatown areas of Chicago, New York, and other major cities.

 

Glenn has been in the broker business since 1996.  He started out of his house, then rented a warehouse at 216 Main Street.  In January 2016, Glenn officially opened his Ginseng Show Room in Marathon City at the Walnut Street location.  Since then, his business has exploded. Mroczenski is a proud and strong ambassador for Marathon City; touting Marathon City as the “Ginseng Capital of the World.”  

Glenn’s Ginseng was one of the recipients of a Downtown Redevelopment Grant available through the Village of Marathon City.  Glenn’s offices and Ginseng Showroom are located in same building that previously housed the Marathon City Fire Department.  Glenn oversaw major renovations and updates to the interior of the building.  The grant money he received was used to purchase signage and awnings to complement the landscaping and update the look and curb-appeal of the building’s exterior.

Glenn is pleased to own a business in downtown Marathon City.  He is grateful for the support he has received from this community and from the regional ginseng farmers. Redwood Properties, LLC Storage Units

Redwood Properties, LLC Storage Units is located at 541 Maratech Avenue in the new Marathon Business Park.

 

We started our business in 2002 with our first facility on the west side of Wausau. We have been looking to expand our business over the past 4 years.  After much consideration, we decided to expand our business in the Marathon Business Park. They were very receptive to the idea of our expansion and felt it was an excellent area to help others with their storage needs in an ever growing market.

 

Our buildings are all metal structures for better durability over wood. We have a variety of sizes for all our customer needs including:  10x10, 10x15, 10x20, 10x25 & 10x30. We also have outside storage available for larger items. Our customers can feel safe in the fact that we have a well lit facility with 24/7 security cameras.

 

We can accept payments including cash, check credit card or online bill pay.  We can offer monthly invoicing for business customers needing to keep track of their expenses. Our leases are month to month or can be discounted for long-term rentals.

 

In the future, we are planning to have indoor storage for larger vehicles such as motor homes, pontoons or larger boats. In the summer of 2017, our facility will have a blacktop surface so our customers can have access to a cleaner facility.
