Riiser Energy plans to donate an additional 1¢ per gallon pumped through their R-Store Pride Pump to the Marathon City 2020 LTD’s The Power of Community Campaign benefiting the Heritage Center. Currently, the Pride Pump located at 401 Main St. in Marathon, WI donates 2¢ per gallon pumped to Marathon School District Foundation Endowment Fund. From November through December, Riiser has promised to donate an additional 1¢ per gallon intended for the campaign which includes Heritage Center repairs, a Heritage Center sign, and a new park outside the center.

“The improvement campaign for the Heritage Center is a positive initiative for the community,” commented Todd Kopplin, Riiser’s Executive VP of Retail Operations. “We are excited to get behind Marathon City 2020 LTD and assist with the project.” He encourages community members to fill up at the Pride Pump and show their spirit for Power of Community Campaign.

“The R Store’s pride pump contributions demonstrate their commitment and longstanding support for growth and development in the Village of Marathon City,” said Edee Zuleger, president of Marathon City 2020 Ltd. “The Marathon City 2020 board is extremely grateful to R-Store and the Riiser organization for their generous and timely support for our board’s ‘The Power of Community’ fundraising campaign. Interest continues to grow in the Heritage Center and the permanent park we want to build on the property; we envision it becoming a vibrant destination where people can gather and celebrate community pride.”

Riiser Energy is a locally owned and community minded petroleum distribution company which currently operates 34 R-Stores.
