Liberty Mutual Foundation Provides Financial Support to Heritage Center Building Renovations
Liberty Mutual Foundation has contributed $500 to Marathon City 2020 LTD. specifically benefiting the Heritage Center.
In 2017, Marathon City 2020 LTD applied for grants from Liberty Mutual Foundation through their Liberty Torchbearers grant program. The foundation awarded two $250 grants because it believes in supporting volunteer efforts contributed by employees of Liberty Mutual Insurance. The grant is intended to make a difference in people’s lives in the communities where their employees live and volunteer.
The contribution from Liberty Mutual Foundation directly supports Marathon City 2020’s operating costs for the Heritage Center.
“The Marathon City 2020 board is very grateful to Liberty Mutual Foundation for selecting us as a recipient of this grant because the funds will directly support the Heritage Center so we can purchase needed supplies and improve displays for upcoming exhibits,” said Edee Zuleger, president of Marathon City 2020 Ltd.
